Feb’18 We have four journals papers on hardware and computing models for brain-inspired, low power systems that have been accepted for publication in the Frontiers of Neurosciences, IEEE TCAS-I, IEEE TCAS-II and IEEE TIE!
Feb’18 We will present a paper and a demo at ISSCC 2018 on: “A 55nm Time-Domain Mixed-Signal Neuromorphic Accelerator with Stochastic Synapses and Embedded Reinforcement Learning for Autonomous Micro-Robots“. This is the first demonstration of RL in hardware at sub-1mW for edge-nodes. Congratulations to all the authors!
Jan’18 ICSRL wins research grants from two JUMP centers: ASCENT and CBIRC. This will support more than $3M of research over the next ten years in the group. Both the centers are funded at $30M and supported by DARPA and SRC.
